Beachside Ako Izumi

Who gives a damn about studying for the calc test in college you have tomorrow? I've got priorities, and my priority is coloring a damn drawing for a deviantart submission, BEEITCH!

Yeah, so I did a digital lineart and colored my Ako Izumi sketch that I submitted last weekend...Finally had some motivation to do something with the tablet (Aside from the little F-22 Raptor lineart I did last night), since I've had time to do stuff but have never done anything...Eerily seems similar to a Shinobu Maehara fanart I did a while back, probably because I went with another summer-time pastel color scheme and beach background...Whoo, living in the land-locked Kentucky makes me with I could move to fuckin' Florida, hurricanes or not...

This was kinda fun...I learned how to use the goddamn pen tool in PS CS, so I did the lineart that way instead of manually tracing my sketch like I used to...It was hard as hell, but the lines turned out smoother than I can do with a pen and tablet...

Coloring ain't where I'd like to be yet, but I think I'm getting better at blending cloth and hair tones...

...something still doesn't look right to me...
